Our mission, individually and communally, is to glorify God in worship and in our daily lives. Stationed in Birmingham, we have a special commitment to the Chinese community, working for, with and through them in the holistic mission of sharing the gospel, enhancing society, and renewing life.

We believe that He has called us to the following priorities in this place:

·     CHURCH LIFE: to publicise our church services, explaining their meaning and centrality in our lives as Christians, so that we can be a welcoming and outgoing home church for Chinese Christians in Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

·     EVANGELISM AND OUTREACH WORK: to share the gospel and its profound and relevant messages with our friends and neighbours, and particularly among the new arrivals and the Chinese community so that they too may know Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

·     TEACHING AND LEARNING – to provide biblical teaching appropriately prepared for children and young people of all age groups.  Similarly, to provide ministry to the British-born Chinese, equipping them to share the Gospel with the local young people.

·     PRAYER – to work constantly at our habits of prayer and worship – individually and in small groups, as well as in meetings of the whole church – so that they become central to every aspect of both our personal and corporate lives.

·     OVERSEAS STUDENTS – to reach out to the large and ever-growing numbers of Chinese students and young professionals living in Birmingham and the metropolitan West Midlands. We believe that part of our fulfilment of the Great Commission is to evangelise, teach and train them so that they will be equipped to live for Christ when they leave UK.
